I Care Somewhat
I Care a Lot is a Netflix original movie made in 2021 about a court-appointed legal guardian who defrauds her elderly clients.
The reviews for this movie are pretty split. It's loved by those on Rotten Tomatoes but hated by IMDB. Reviewers say that it had a strong start but flopped towards the end, the characters are too unlikable, or just that it's flat out boring.
I don't know if it was the story or the amazing performances by the actors, but I liked it. The plot was creative and sure, the mafia bit did come out of nowhere but that's what made it interesting. If it were just a movie about a woman scamming little old ladies that would be depressing. I'm also not someone who believes that main characters have to be likable or good which our leading lady is definitely not. This movie is different from anything I've seen in a while and that's worth something.
So, who do you trust, real movie critics or me? I don't know. I would suggest watching I Care a Lot so you can form your own opinion on it.
