America's Favorite Serial Killer

 Dexter, created in 2006, is a crime drama surrounding a forensic analysist who leads a secret life as a vigilante serial killer hunting down murders. 

Dexter is my favorite show. I watched it on a whim in middle school and immediately became obsessed. The suspense keeps you one your toes, the murders have all the blood and gore that any true crime lover could want, and Dexters internal dialogue is truly the gift that keeps on giving. 

Although I love this show, it is fact that Dexter has one of the worst series finales in television history (next to Game of Thrones). The show wrapped up back in 2013, but Showtime recently dropped a sequel called Dexter: New Blood. I've only seen a few episodes so far, but fingers crossed they have redeemed themselves.

Popular with 18–34-year-olds, Greys Anatomy is ABC's longest-running scripted show at 19 seasons.  I like this show and I can see why people want more of it. The characters feel real, the romance between Derek and Meridith is full of tension, and the medical cases - however inaccurate - keep you engaged. My favorite case is the guy who swallowed 7 doll heads for "no reason".
